The letter to myself

I'm here. I love you.
I don't care if you need to stay up crying all night long, I will stay up with you.
If you need the medication again, go ahead and take it-
I will love you through that, as well.
If you don't need the medication, I will love you, too.
There's nothing you can ever do to lose my love.
I will protect you until you die, and after your death I will still protect you.
I am stronger than Depression and I am braver than Loneliness and
nothing will ever exhaust me.

한 때,
나 자신에게서 가장 듣고 싶었던 말들.
읽는 순간, 그 때의 상처가 치유되는 것만 같아
책 위에 회한을 쏟아냈던 그 날.

"괜찮아", 이 한 마디를 나한테 하는 일이
그때의 난 왜 그리 어려웠었는지.

"괜찮아". 이제 해줘도 될 것 같은 오늘.
